All content, structure, and design systems used across Blueprint Studio websites are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

This page defines ownership boundaries for both Blueprint and its clients.

Blueprint Intellectual Property

Unless explicitly transferred in writing, the following remain the intellectual property of Blueprint Studio:

  • Core layout systems
  • Structural frameworks
  • Navigation patterns
  • Section architecture models
  • Reusable styling systems
  • Internal production workflows

Clients receive usage rights for their delivered website, not ownership of Blueprint's underlying framework or design methodology.

Blueprint reserves the right to reuse structural systems across future projects.

Client Content Ownership

Clients retain full ownership of:

  • Submitted written content
  • Uploaded images and media
  • Reports and academic documents
  • Logos and brand assets
  • Research data and documentation

Blueprint does not claim ownership over any client-provided materials.

Source Files and Repository Access

Upon final approval and payment confirmation:

  • Repository access or source files are transferred as agreed during intake.
  • Clients assume responsibility for future edits unless a maintenance agreement is active.

Blueprint is not responsible for modifications made after handover.

Template Products

CV templates and downloadable products are licensed for individual use only.

Clients may:

  • Edit the files
  • Deploy them for personal or academic use
  • Host them independently

Clients may not:

  • Resell templates
  • Redistribute source files
  • Claim the design framework as their own product

Portfolio Rights

Blueprint reserves the right to display completed projects in its portfolio unless a confidentiality agreement was confirmed in writing before project initiation.

Client-sensitive information may be redacted upon request.

Limitation of Liability

Blueprint is not responsible for:

  • Hosting platform outages
  • GitHub service interruptions
  • Third-party domain provider issues
  • Changes made by the client after handover

Clients are responsible for maintaining compliance with academic, institutional, or regulatory requirements related to their content.
